Well, where are we? Doing much of the same really. We are a few quid richer thanks to e-bay and can also see more of the floor in the house, as even more stuff has traveled to the tip or to the charity shop. I've had to eat my words about the laurel hedge because Pat has made a sizeable impact on a section of it. We could probably have used the leaves to start our own soap factory and set up in competition with those in Aleppo! No progress on the Mog as we have been concentrating on sorting out the house. B's study was a bit of a challenge - there was much wailing and knashing of teeth, but it is done. Meanwhile we have been enjoying some wonderful views at sunset. One evening we (well, me really) left the sausages to burn because there was a spectacular double arc of rainbow over the stubble field and I couldn't tear myself away from it. The light was extraordinary. Ho hum - better go and help with hoovering the loft. We didn't count on all this when we started planning the trip. S.
