Said farewell to our campsite neighbour, got a small diesel top up (Zim is more expensive than Bots), Sue bought a wooden dish thing, posted letters and headed for the Bots border at Kazangula. To get there we crossed the Zambezi National Park where we saw ellies and giraffe before arriving at the border crossing which was simple and easy. On the Botswanan side we had to wipe our shoes down against foot & mouth and our fridge was inspected for contraband food - turns out that the solitary orange that we still had was not allowed, so we were invited to eat it there and then!
We returned to the campsite at Senyati - this evening there were both elephant and buffs - probably 50 ellies and 200 buffs - the buffs appeared out of the bush - black shapes moving through the dust cloud that they were generating, there was quite a bit of jostling between the ellies and the buffs at the waterhole - some buffs chased ellies off, some ellies chased buffs off - quite fascinating.
As a result our supper was only half cooked (we never got round to doing the meat) - but no problem as the view made up for it!
