Due to the leak we decided to stay a couple of days to make sure it is fixed - up on the roof it became clear that the sealant around the rooflight has gone hard and cracked, so out came the trusty Sikaflex (never go anywhere without a tube of this stuff!). After a while it was declared "fixed" - but would it leak?!
In the early evening we walked up the road, this was nice as many people were out and about, either going home or just enjoying the air. One guy was using the brand new tar on the road as a roller skating track - he was managing to skate up some quite step inclines and was upa nd down several times. At the junction with Langata Road are a small collection of tiny shops where trainers, vegetables, clothing and who knows what else can be bought. As Langata Road is busy and dusty we turned round and headed back. In the evening we did some planning for the Masai Mara - it seems quite complicated for the independent traveller.
