Sue got up early again today - the photos speak for themselves!!!!
She went out and enjoyed the sunrise and the fish eagles calling and went to have a chat with someone pulling water hyacinth from the lake - it's somehow been introduced and is threatening to choke the lake.Plans are afoot to combat it by planting grasses and sedges anongst the hyacinths that will make them sink, hopefully this will work.
One of the asian guys came across to the Mog, very keen to have a closer look at it - apparently he's been chatting with his father about it since having seen it - and his fatehr is jealous of him due to it! He's given us his card in case we ever want to sell it, we took his photo in the cab so he can ake his father even more jealous!!!
More families were arriving for the party, we're off! We had thought of going to Hells Gate National Park just up the road, but when we got there we found almost crods waiting to get in (mostly with pushbikes but also many coaches) and of course the high prices. Do we want to pay almost $200 to join crowds of people? No. Off to Niarobi then....
It was pouring when we got back to Wildebeest - Alan was surprised to see us again, we were surprised to see Nick the photographer and Steven at the bar who's contract had finished a few weeks earlier. Nick had had more car troubles in Loita Hills and was now talking of heading for the coast - same as us - but he's thinking of flying as the Mombasa road is so bad.
